All Council meeting – on January 22 at 6PM, RSVP to office

Discussed achievements to present to all at the meeting

New members – possible 3 new members. Plan to invite to all-council meeting

Lent flyers – we have received many sample booklets for Lent. The samples were reviewed and we selected a variety of handouts suitable for all age groups, including:

Cross door hanger with stickers for children’s liturgy and SOR

Catholic Update Fasting from Clutter 200 @ .28 each

Leap into Lent (family book) 100 @ .77 each

Teen calendar $9.35 for 50

Readings on magnet for all council meeting.  Susan to check with Parish Office on budget and that no other group has ordered any info.

Visitor’s Sunday – next time will be at Easter

Youth Group – Teresa Menke had forwarded an email about a lock-in at William Jewell for high school.  It would be a great offering for youth. 

Susan to try to contact diocese again about suggestions for youth minister. Diane to find out if Sandy knows about YM youth minister at Holy Spirit. Shannon will advise Parish council about ideas.  We need to define prices and what it will cost. Church would cover cost of youth minister but the position could be shared with other churches or only be part time.

Anything else  - discussions with Ora Reyes about starting a Bible study group.  She was to order book for review. Possible meting on Wednesday evenings.  Glen has a list of parishioners interested in the offering.
